Mobile phone Repair
Do I have to leave my device with you to have it fix ?
In most cases, no. All iPhones and ipods can be done while you wait in usually under 15 minutes. For iPads I prefer to have them for the majority of the day or overnight becasue they take longer to repair.
Do you buy your parts from apple ?
No, in truth Apple doesn’t make parts. Just like most products on the market, contract manufacturers make the parts and even assemble the final product. We buy OEM quality parts to use for repairs.
I can buy parts cheaper on Ebay, can I bring it to you and have you install the parts?
Usually the parts you by on Ebay and Amazon are the worst quality available. That is why they are cheap. In the long run its more affordable just to come to our store and have us supply the parts and labor and do it the right way.
I have a buddy that will fix my phone for me, can I buy a new screen from you?
We do not sell parts here because in almost all cases the “buddy” will install the part wrong and damage it.
I have multiple issues with my smartphone, can I get a deal on multiple repairs?
Yes you can. Give us a call and describe your problem and we will see what we can do for you.
Cost and payment
I don’t know what is wrong with my device, will you charge me to look at it?
NO!! We never charge a diagnostic fee! Just bring it in for free diagnostic testing.
Why are your prices lower then other repair shops?
Simple, LOW OPERATING COSTS. I don’t pay high rent just to be on Mentor Ave. We don’t have any employees. We do very little advertising. Most of our business is referral based. That allows us to spend more money buying the BEST QUALITY parts for you!
Do you only take cash?
NO! We accept VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER, AMEX, cash and COMPANY Checks. We do not accept personal checks.
Testing and Warranties
Do you test my device after you do the repair to make sure it works?
YES! regardless of what part is being replaced I run the device through a series of functions to make sure everything works. In most cases, I catch issues that other repair shops miss or damaged when they repaired them.
Do you warranty your work? parts?
Yes! We have a LIFETIME warranty on parts. Please see warranty section on this site for more information.
How long do water damage repairs take to complete?
Water damage repairs generally take between 24 and 72 hours to complete depending on the level of damage. This estimate can vary, however, depending on the extent of the damage to the logic board and other components.
Miscellaneous
I don’t know what is wrong with my device, will you charge me to look After dropping my phone it has become unresponsive to touch, does the glass repair fix this issue?it?
Yes, any non responsiveness your phone is suffering due to a drop will be corrected with the Glass & Digitizer repair, as the Digitizer that is being replaced is the part responsible for all touch functionality. How do I know if I need the LCD repair or not?
If the actual screen of the phone is bleeding, white, or has any dead pixels then you’re going to need to select the LCD & Glass option as the LCD has suffered irreversible damage. Still not sure?
The glass on my iPhone is completely shattered and is chipping off, is the glass replacement service all I need?
Yes, the glass replacement service will replace the entire glass face, so the extent of the damage to the previous glass does not matter.
